Welcome, Bienvenue, 歡迎 on Mathieu photo web site.
When I first wrote the welcome message, I was stating : “hopefully, with time, the content (of this website) will grow". It did. Time has come for a major update. In a couple of month the number of pictures has outgrown my capacity to manage it. 700 pictures… hours of updating time.
The update concerns the organization of the galleries. From now on, the family galleries will be organized by geographic area then date and finally events. For example, you’ll find Maie newborn pictures in Family / Taiwan / Summer 2007 / At the Clinic.
Following a very good comment, thanks Anne, I will post on the first page the last updates.

FAMILY / NEWARK / WINTER 2008 : Maïe started reading on her own ... well not really but she is definitely imitating someone here!!! AND she eats solid food. Following our pedetrician advises we've started playing with a spoon and solid food. Seems like she picks it up pretty quick. Now she likes it.

Photos: I store here my favorite photos. I've always found difficult to explain what kind of image I like. As the locution says, a picture replaces a thousand words, so these days my favorite one is here. By the way, I found this little pdf by Chris Week really interesting.
Family: When the stupid idea of creating a web site first stroke me, it was all about photography. I got the gear but I've never really finished it. Then something happened, one day I woke up as a father. A very normal father but living far from the rest of his family. So I decided to finish this web site and open a blog. Funny no? the long awaited launch finally took place but for a whole different reason:
